Microsoft Teams Direct Routing

Plenty of your customers live in Microsoft Teams, and they want to make and take ordinary phone calls in it too. Direct Routing connects Teams to the public phone network through our platform. Your customers keep the Teams experience they know, and gain business-grade calling with the numbers, routing and support handled for them.

The connection to Teams runs through a Microsoft-certified session border controller, so your customer's Teams administrator gets a supported, standards-based set-up. We port their existing numbers or provide new ones, configure the routing, and stay behind the service after go-live.

Because it runs on the same platform as our other voice services, a Teams customer gets the same carrier resilience, fraud monitoring and international numbers as everyone else. If they ever move to Webex, or run both, the numbers come with them.

Voice is only as good as the line underneath it

Most call-quality problems aren’t really voice problems. They’re connectivity problems. Over ordinary internet, voice traffic competes with everything else on the line. Our Ethernet gives voice priority all the way from the customer’s site to our platform. Where Ethernet isn’t justified, we size the broadband and the router for clear calls. Either way, it’s all on one bill.
