How partnerships work
Two ways to work with us, clear roles on every deal, and a promise we never break: we don’t sell direct.
How a deal runs
- 1Introduce. You tell us about the opportunity. We agree roles, and how visible we are, before anyone speaks to the customer.
- 2Discover. Together we understand the customer's workflows, problems and the outcomes that matter to them.
- 3Prove. Before your customer commits, we prove the design works. For connectivity, that means availability checks and a site survey where needed. For voice and collaboration, it means test calls or a short, scoped pilot. There's no cost to you. We agree the scope with you up front, so your customer knows exactly what's being tested.
- 4Deploy. We design, license and deploy, including devices where we're supplying them.
- 5Support. We stay engaged after go-live, or hand device support to you as a recurring service.
Find the margin hiding in your customer base
Most partners have connectivity and voice contracts nobody has looked at since the day they were signed. Circuits bought years ago at yesterday’s prices. SIP channels sized for an office that has since halved. ISDN and analogue lines quietly heading for the switch-off. Each one is a customer paying too much, and margin you’re not earning.
Two ways to work with us
You lead. Your team runs the sale and the deployment. We provide the platform, design support when you want it, and second-line support behind your engineers. This suits partners with their own voice and network skills.
We do the legwork. Bring us the opportunity and we’ll take it from there: pre-sales, design, quoting, deployment and support. We work as an extension of your team: on your calls, to your processes, in step with your account managers. You stay the customer’s provider, you send the bill and you keep the relationship.
You buy at partner pricing and set your own margin. You can mix both approaches deal by deal.
Clear roles on every deal
Before anyone speaks to your customer, we agree who does what. Some things are always yours, some are always ours, and some depend on how much you want to take on.
Always yours
- The customer relationship and the contract
- Billing your customer, at the margin you set
- Account management and the first call when something comes up
Always ours
- The voice and connectivity platforms, and the carrier relationships behind them
- Network design, provisioning and carrier escalation
- Second- and third-line support for everything we supply
Your call
- Webex licences and Cisco devices. You sell them to your customer either way. Source them through your own Cisco agreements, or through ours.
- Deployment and professional services. Your engineers, ours, or a mix of both.
- Device support after go-live. Keep it as your own recurring service, or hand it to us.
Questions partners ask
- Do you ever sell direct?
- No. We have no direct sales team and no direct pricing. End customers who contact us are introduced to a partner.
- What happens if one of my customers contacts you?
- We send them back to you.
- Can you work under our brand?
- We work as an extension of your team. We join your customer calls, follow your processes and work alongside your account managers. The contract, the bill and the relationship stay with you, and we never contact your customer outside an engagement you've agreed.
- Do we need to be a Cisco partner?
- No. We work with managed service providers, IT partners and resellers as well as Cisco partners.
- Our customers use Microsoft Teams. Does that rule them out?
- No. We connect Microsoft Teams to the phone network through Direct Routing and a Microsoft-certified session border controller, so your customers keep Teams and gain proper business calling, with numbers, porting and support handled by us. Connectivity works whatever platform they use.
- How do you allocate end-customer introductions?
- If the customer already has an IT provider and names them, we offer the opportunity to that provider first, even if they're not yet a partner. Otherwise we match on location, company size and what the customer needs, and share introductions fairly between the partners who fit. We never keep an introduction for ourselves.
- What do we earn?
- You buy at partner pricing and sell at the margin you set. We don't pay referral fees, because we never take the customer off your hands. The customer, the contract and the margin are yours.
- Does it cost anything to become a partner?
- No.
Bring us the next communications opportunity you’d otherwise pass on.
