SIP Trunking
ISDN and analogue phone lines are being switched off across the UK by January 2027. For your customers, that means their phone system needs a new way to reach the outside world. For you, it's a reason to have a conversation with every customer still on copper. SIP trunking is the most direct replacement. It keeps their existing phone system and numbers, and moves their calls onto a modern, resilient network.
Our SIP trunks work with any standards-based phone system or session border controller. Capacity is sized to how your customer actually calls, not to how many lines they had before. Multi-site customers share capacity across their sites, so they don't pay twice for the same peak. When a seasonal campaign or a busy period needs more lines, extra capacity can be switched on quickly and switched off again afterwards.

Built to stay up
- Two platform sites. Every trunk connects to two geographically separate platform nodes, so losing one site doesn't take your customer's phones down.
- More than one carrier. If a carrier has an outage, calls route automatically through another.
- Divert on failure. If the customer's phone system goes offline, calls divert automatically to another number or another site, so nothing rings out unanswered.
- Fraud monitoring and call barring. Unusual calling patterns are flagged early. Premium-rate and international barring are available on every trunk, so a compromised phone system doesn't turn into a five-figure bill.
Voice is only as good as the line underneath it
Most call-quality problems aren’t really voice problems. They’re connectivity problems. Over ordinary internet, voice traffic competes with everything else on the line. Our Ethernet gives voice priority all the way from the customer’s site to our platform. Where Ethernet isn’t justified, we size the broadband and the router for clear calls. Either way, it’s all on one bill.
