Business broadband
Business broadband should be the simplest thing a partner sells. Most of the time it is, until an installation slips, a fault drags on, or a customer finds out their "fast" line can't cope with video calls. We take care of the parts that go wrong. Every address is checked before we quote, installations are managed from start to finish, and when there's a fault, we're the ones chasing the network.
Full fibre and part-fibre
Full fibre runs fibre-optic cable all the way to the premises. It offers download speeds up to 1Gbps and upload speeds up to 115Mbps, and it doesn't slow down with distance from the exchange. Wherever it's available, it's the one we recommend.
Part-fibre runs fibre to the street cabinet and copper for the last stretch. It's the right choice where full fibre hasn't arrived yet. It's delivered without a traditional phone line, so there's no line rental to pay for a line nobody uses. Speeds depend on the distance from the cabinet. Where G.fast is available, part-fibre can reach faster speeds than standard part-fibre.
Every connection comes with no data caps. Every quote is for the specific address, with estimated speeds for that line.
Business-grade options
- Static IP addresses, from a single address up to a block of six usable addresses, for VPNs, remote access and hosted services.
- Elevated throughput, which gives the connection a higher guaranteed minimum speed when the network is busy.
- Faster repair care, for sites where a fault can't wait for standard repair times.
- Managed installation, including site surveys for complex premises and a named engineer where it's needed.
- Routers, supplied and configured by us, or bring your own.
A second line for sites that can't go offline
For sites already on Ethernet or dedicated internet access, broadband makes an inexpensive second path. It's delivered over completely different technology from the main circuit, so a single fault is less likely to take out both. The customer's router switches over automatically if the main connection fails, and we can help you design the set-up.
Phones on broadband
Our broadband doesn't include a phone line, because the analogue phone network is being switched off. Pair it with our voice services to give your customer business calling on the same bill. Customers with demanding call volumes should use Ethernet, which gives voice priority all the way to our platform.
