Ethernet WAN: Any-to-Any

Some networks don't have a natural centre. When offices need to talk directly to each other, with voice between sites, file replication or several data centres, routing everything through a hub adds latency and a single point of pressure. Any-to-any Ethernet connects every site to every other site on one private Layer 2 network.

Rather than building and paying for a separate circuit between every pair of sites, each location joins a shared private network and can reach any other directly. Adding a new office means connecting one site, not re-plumbing the whole mesh. Class-of-service options let latency-sensitive traffic such as voice and video take priority over bulk data.

It suits growing multi-site businesses and organisations that are spreading workloads across more than one data centre or cloud location. It can also run alongside point-to-point circuits on the same access, so one connection can serve both designs.
