Switch-off migrations
The UK's analogue phone network is being switched off by January 2027. Any business still running on traditional phone lines, or on broadband that depends on one, has to move. Most haven't started. Every one of them is a reason for you to get in touch, and a chance to put their broadband and their phones on a better footing at the same time.
We handle the move as one project, not two. The line moves to full fibre or part-fibre broadband, and the customer's phone numbers move to our voice services in the same plan. That means SIP trunking for a phone system they want to keep, or Webex Calling or Microsoft Teams if they're ready for something new. The cut-over is agreed with you in advance, so the business isn't left without phones in between.
Check before you switch
Some lines carry more than phone calls. Before any line moves, we check for telecare devices, monitored alarms, card machines, lift lines and other equipment that depends on the old network. Telecare devices are tested on the new service as part of the installation. Anything that can't move as it is gets planned for separately, so nothing is quietly switched off.
Built for estates, not just single sites
For customers with many sites, such as retail chains, franchise networks or property portfolios, we can plan and run bulk migrations. Sites are grouped by area and readiness, so a large estate moves in an orderly programme rather than one fire-fight at a time.
